THE DEFINITION

Born in Ontario, Canada, Mike aka “Definition Productions” began writing songs and making beats with GarageBand and Mixcraft. He learned the fundamentals of music production while attending university, and in 2018 he bought his first MIDI, a Novation Launchkey 25, and a copy of Ableton Live 9.

Mike continued to write songs and record local artists while focusing on the development of his own sound. In August of 2021, he began publishing his beats online and decided to go all out on beat making and music production.

In 2023, Mike shifted focus towards growing an audience on streaming platforms, as well as starting his network of Spotify playlists, “Definition Playlists”. By 2024, Mike has reached over 1,000,000 streams across all streaming platforms.
